Abjad Education was founded on a simple idea: Muslim families in Sydney deserve a learning option that takes both faith and the syllabus seriously — without forcing a choice between them.
Mr. Ibrahim is a fully accredited NSW teacher with extensive experience across public schools, private Islamic schools, and homeschooling education. His teaching career has included positions at Bass High School, Malek Fahd Islamic School and four years as a full-time Qur'an teacher at Daar Ibn Abbas. He is also an Ijazah holder and has taught Qur'an, Tajwīd, Hifz, Arabic reading, and Islamic Studies while mentoring students throughout their memorisation journey. Alongside his classroom experience, Ibrahim has extensive homeschooling expertise, having designed, programmed, and delivered comprehensive NSW curriculum programs across a range of subjects. This diverse background enables him to deliver high-quality education that integrates academic excellence with authentic Islamic values.
We teach seven subjects: English, History, Geography, Arabic, Science, Maths and Design and Technology. We teach them in small groups (10 students, maximum). We teach the NSW syllabus, in full, with NESA outcomes mapped to every lesson. And we teach them through an Islamic worldview — because values shape how children think, not just what they think about.
Stage 4 and Stage 5 boys through years 7-10. These are the years that decide whether a child arrives at senior school confident or scrambling. These years are also often neglected by those committed to full-time Quran memorisation. At Abjad Education, we have experience in all of these scenarios and are ready to help your child with their individual learning needs.
Respect, conduct, and the manners of learning come before content.
We teach to mastery, not to the test. Every piece of work is marked.
Faith and academics, classroom and home, screen and page.
Plain reports. No up selling. If your child is on track, we'll tell you.
Words do only so much. Bring your child along for one session — no obligation.
